  • Hotels usually offer check-in from around 14:00, while check-out is commonly before 12:00. Early arrival can be arranged subject to room availability.
  • Transport from Noi Bai International Airport to the city center or to VNUA can be arranged by taxi, ride-hailing services, or pre-booked airport transfer.
  • It is recommended to reserve accommodation in advance, especially during the conference period when rooms in central Hanoi can fill quickly.

Best for delegates who want easy access to restaurants, shopping streets, and major transport routes. These hotels are usually 20–40 minutes from the university depending on traffic.

University-area lodging

Transportation in Hanoi

Taxi and ride-hailing services are the most convenient way to travel around the city. Typical taxi fares range from 12,000–15,000 VND per kilometer. Short trips usually cost 3–5 EUR.

Public transport

  • Hanoi has an extensive public bus network with fares around 7,000–9,000 VND per trip.

Internet and SIM cards

SIM cards can be purchased at Noi Bai International Airport or in mobile phone shops in the city. The main mobile network providers in Vietnam include:
